18T Aluminum Bevel Gear

This 18T aluminum bevel gear was first introduced with the GRK5-R HRP Full Kit and is designed to be compatible with the GRK5.

Developed for advanced drivers who require ultra-high RPM gearing for drift competition, this gear allows a higher overall gear ratio while maintaining the performance required for competitive drifting.

This gear is not compatible with the standard GRK4 Gear Adapter (R31S302).

Compatibility with Different Differential Configurations

1. Ball Differential (R31G001)
Replace the standard ring gear with the Ball Differential Offset Ring Gear (R31W211).
After installation, adjust the final gear backlash using the shims on both sides.

2. Gear Differential (R31W271)
Use a ring gear configuration consisting of 16T–18T gears.
After installation, adjust the final gear backlash using the shims on both sides.

Important Note
Depending on the mounting position of the universal shaft and joint cup, the universal shaft may have insufficient engagement, or it may interfere with the bottom of the joint cup.
This can restrict suspension movement and negatively affect the operation of the suspension.
If this occurs, the universal shaft must be replaced with one of the appropriate length for the particular setup.
