The aluminum Front Reinforce Brace for GRK5 (Flat Upper Deck specification) has been renewed to Version 2. Based on extensive real-world testing of the previous model, the shape has been significantly redesigned. While maintaining its core function of increasing front-end rigidity, the new design minimizes weight increase and improves serviceability when installing or removing the servo.
■ Installation Notes ① The front post of the servo mount plate must be replaced with a DR-ES18BK Aluminum Extension Spacer (18mm) (*), or alternatively, a 4mm thick spacer should be added to the rear side of the servo mount plate to ensure proper fitment. (*) When using the standard 22mm servo mount post.
■ Installation Notes ② If the gearbox has been raised using parts such as the R31S094 GRK5 Gear Unit Raised Plate, an equivalent amount of spacing must also be added to the main chassis mounting points, depending on the amount of gearbox lift used.
